BEER MENU

We brew local real craft beers full of body, flavour and taste.
NO ADDITIVES | NO PRESERVATIVES

All of our beers are made with no additives, preservatives or added sugars and are from 100% grain.
We brew using many traditional brewing techniques fromaround the world, some dating back centuries and we have created our own beer styles and brewing methods.

POMMY BITTER


 (World’s Best Bitter – World Beer Awards UK 2010) This beer punches above its weight and is packed with flavour!
An English style bitter with lots of Fuggle hops. A beautifully balanced beer from start to finish with loads of flavour. A rich amber colour, good balance of hops, citrusy hops and caramel on the nose. (3.5%)

AMERICAN PALE ALE

A ‘Go to’ beer A west coast style American Pale Ale, brewed with loads of hops for bitterness and hop fruit aroma, tangerine and pineapple on the nose.

BLOOD ORANGE SOUR

A blonde sour ale brewed with fresh blood oranges which give the beer loads of citrus flavours and a mild acidity on the finish. (4.5%)

A stand out!
An Australia style pale ale, straw coloured, easy drinking beer and loaded with taste. This is a great beer all round. (4.2%)

AUSSIE LAGER

This is a beer for everyone!
A light, well balanced Australian lager beer style with subtle malt and hop flavours finishing with a medium level of bitterness and crisp finish. A perfect beer for our hot dry climate. .

WEST COAST IPA

Beer with a difference
True to style, this India Pale Ale (IPA) is brewed with lashings of American hops giving the beer a bold hop aroma, high bitterness and citrus notes. (6.5%)

HELL RAISER

Imperial double IPA, candied orange and hazelnut notes, big citrus-rind bitterness, smooth mouth feel. A must for ‘hop heads’(8.6%)

German Wheat Bier
Thai Green Mango sour is a specialty sour ale brewed with lots of tart thai green mangoes which gives the beer strong fruit flavours and mild acidity to finish.4.5%

BRETT ON THE HIGH SEAS

Brettanomycees…….huh?
This is a classic Belgian ale which has been brewed with a funky wild yeast strain called Brettanomyces. Wild yeast strains and their characteristics are usually unwanted, whereas its appreciated and encouraged with certain traditional Belgian ales. (4.8%)

An English porter with exquisite coffee & chocolate notes, creamy mouthfeel, subtle sweetness, just like its namesake dessert.5%

FELDA WEISS

A classic German style wheat bier with hints of tropical fruit, banana and citrus , sweet malt profile and a dry cleansing finish. 4.6%

PINK LADY APPLE CIDER

Pink lady cider!
While this isn’t a beer, we thought we should have a cider on tap too from time to time! The freshly crushed Batlow apples create a dlicious crystal clear cider with a clean medium to sweet finish. Support our local Blue Mountains cidery and help them on their road to recovery from the bushfires. 4.5%

Chateau Sour

A wood-aged beer with sour overtone
Redoak’s wood-aged Château Sour, a Belgian style sour beer with a medium body and reddish colour from the special red malts. The beer exhibits gentle malty flavour with distinctive flavours of plum, cherry and raisins with little to no hop bitterness, and a refreshing sour dry finish.

Chateau Blonde

A surprising and refreshing beer
Redoak’s Château Blonde is a Belgian white beer and exhibits very strong flavour profiles of sweet maltiness which open up to light stone fruits and caramels on the palate. This beer has a big presence of phenolics with a perfume of musk and flowers, whilst finishing quite dry.

This beer has been frozen during the conditioning stage, removing a large portion of the water content. Leaving behind a rich bold beer with layers of complexity, from caramel to toffee and chocolate. A finely balanced bitterness and sweetness. The viscous body makes for a majestic beer to be enjoyed slowly

Christmas Cheer

Grandma’s Xmas pudding in a bottle
This beer is a rich full bodied dark ale with all the delicious ingredients of our grandmother’s pudding. A 5th generation recipe from Cork, Ireland has been used. The alcohol content will please whilst the aroma and flavour will certainly surprise you.

Has been called the Grange Hermitage of beer’
Wood-aged barley wine that has had 3 fermentations and matured on various oak for years adding uniqueness and complexity to the beer. Toffee and caramel on the nose, fruity notes, treacle and spice, toffee bitterness, big roasty, smoky finish with peppery hops.

Aged Saint Nicholas
 GOLD - International Beer Challenge, UK 2015

This beer is named after the Patron Saint of Beer Drinkers
To honour our beer drinkers over the years David has based it on his favourite Belgian Triple Ales. Using a very old traditional Belgian Trappist yeast. It has a subtle phenolic aroma, balanced malt sweetness and subtle bitterness with fruity notes such as passionfruit.
(8.4 % / 330 2.3std) These are just a few of the Redoak bottled beer selection. Please note that the beers available change regularly. Some of these beers have been cellared for many years and tend to cost more than your usual bottle of beer, so be sure to savour and share.

An Imperial IPA with a golden amber colour with intense and complex candied orange and hazelnut notes. A powerful citrus rind bitterness lingers with a velvety smooth mouth feel. It’s a must for the ‘hop heads’ 8.6%
