Vienna
is a red-amber lager with an emphasis on a rich
toasted malt aroma and flavour. First brewed
by the Dreher family in Vienna around 1841, this
style was produced using pure strains of yeast
and was the precursor to Pilsener, brewed only
a year later in the town of Plzen. Redoak has
remained faithful to the pioneering work of the
Dreher family and have replicated this style
of beer using the finest Vienna malt, Noble Hallertau
hops and a bottom fermenting lager yeast. Price: $5.50 a glass
